Magic will be treated here as a serious topic and as a natural science. Magic is the foundation of modern science. Mathematics originated from numerology. Astronomy originated from astrology. Chemistry originated from alchemy.

Here there will be no differentiation between black magic and white magic or however one wishes to divide and classify. If magic is used in a way to bring harm to others it will also harm the partitioner. A circle, a pentagram, or other protections will not protect one's heart and soul from the evil that lives there. The curse you give is the curse you get. Black magic is derived from Egyptian magic. Egypt in ancient times was known as the land of Khem, the dark land. Khem meaning dark due to the dark soil of Nile Valley compared to the surrounding desert. Khem is the origin of the names alchemy and chemistry. Egyptians were skilled in the magic arts.

The power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces. Oxford Dictionary

The use of means (such as charms or spells) believed to have supernatural power over natural forces. Merriam-Webster

Is magic real? The physical world is imaginary. Einstein told us in 1924, "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." So why not imagine the unbelievable; until it becomes believable? To have this rare ability one cannot be a conformist. One must think for oneself, if one is to practice magic.

My preacher said magic is a sin? So what? What do they know? Only what someone told them. A Christian can do magic. There is evidence that Jesus was a magician. In praying to God one may ask for money and all sorts of favors. "Ask and you shall receive." That is a type of magic. A spiritual force we ask favors of. Prayers are a type of spell. When we pray, we speak words to spiritual force. That is spellcasting of the most basic sort.

People and culture

This is a new project starting January 2025. There is little content, but more is being added weekly. Like a tree or a bush, it intends to grow naturally. The original idea was to generate revenue by hosting ads. That will still be done; however the site will endeavor to provide valuable information regarding the philosophy and practice of magic.
